I have a 1958 219 that has not run since the mid-1980's. During that time it has been in a garage (or two) and has a straight body with little rust, none that I can find. The issue that sent it to the garage was a failure in the vacuum operated clutch, activated by the column shift. The car was my grandfathers, he left it to my father, who left it to me. While the car has been in my family, my memories of the car are simply having to work around it to get things done. I am hoping to find someone who finds the car interesting and would like it for the project that it is. If I can not find a taker, I will donate the car and write it off. The car is in Morgan Hill, CA 95037. (about 20 miles south of San Jose, CA, about 60 miles south of San Francisco, CA) I can help with transportation of the car if that helps. As for the price, make me an offer, the competition is the write off I will get from the donation, I am not easily insulted by genuine people making genuine offers. Thank you for your time.
