FS - 17" AMG Aero I Monoblock Hammer Wheels (set of 4)

17” AMG Aero I Monoblock Wheels (set of 4) from W124 Mercedes Benz Hammer - $999

Excellent condition set of four (4) 17" AMG Aero I wheels from my 1991 300E w124 (previously from an AMG Hammer). This square setup is 8" all around for a direct fit on W124 body styles, some W201 series, and even a handful of VW's and Audi’s. A couple of the wheels have minor curb scuffing and the previous owner had painted the AMG inset on the wheels red (I never got around to getting this off or refinishing these wheels). I’m selling these because I sold my 300E with the factory wheels.

What’s Included:

4x - 17 x 8” AMG Wheels
4x - Mercedes Benz center caps (NEW)
20x - Mercedes Benz wheel bolts

Not Included:

4x - Supra tires pictured on these wheels which can be included for an additional cost, otherwise I’ll pull them off before purchase.

Wheel Specs:

AMG Aero I Monoblock 17" Mercedes Benz Wheels
Size: 17 x 8 (front and rear)
Offset: ET28mm
Bolt pattern: 5x112
8JX17 E28

Width Conflict

Above is a quote from your post

8JX17 E28 means 8" width X 17 Dia. ET28

So does the back of the wheel say?

7.5J X 17 E28

or

8J X 17 E28

if they are 7.5 wide, then you will find 7.5J on the back

I'm guessing they are 8" wheels..

Also where did you find new caps for these wheels, aren't they a smaller size and out of production?

I apologize for the mistake, they are 8-inch all around. The back inside of the wheel says 8J x 17 E28. I'm also selling M3 wheels from my other car and the fronts on those are 7.5-inch.

I did a search online and found the caps at a Mercedes authorized parts reseller.

for the feed back

and from the pictures I can see the AMG logo which tells me they are probably standard size easy to find centers

Early models of this wheel where a little different.

Nice wheels...!

Correct. The post merger "///AMG" had the larger bore and the pre-merger "AMG" had the smaller. I have a set of the pre merger Aero I's and the center caps are imposible to find.

Hi Mario, sorry I missed your call. I was busy in meetings all day today. I tried calling you back, but it must have been too late. I'll try you tomorrow.
