Selling my 1965 200 4 cylinder gas sedan. This forum has helped me throughout the years so I would like to see it go to a member for proper restoration, and with a discounted price. PM is always welcome or drop me an email @ ChrisMurphy55@gmail.com
. I am not a dealer or a hit and run. I am located in Mesa, AZ. I wouldn't mind shipping it to anywhere in the US, at the buyers expense.
From my CL ad:
I am reluctantly selling my 1965 Mercedes 200 W110. It's a 4 cylinder gasser, white in color with a blue interior. This is a non-running restoration project, but ALL the parts are here and most are in working order.
A couple notes about the car:
As far as I can tell its been in AZ its whole life, and the interior shows it. Seats, seat frames and fabric are all present but pretty burnt from the sun. Interior is also present, along with the wood, radio and clock (working). Steering wheel is also in decent shape with a few cracks. The key is missing from the vehicle, but a new set is fairly inexpensive from salvage (50$)
Tires are literally brand new, it doesn't look like they have ever been driven on and they hold air.
All of the glass is present and in good shape, the seals are dry and cracked. The windows roll up and down and the wipers work.
All of the lights are present and working. The odometer has rolled over once so est miles are 186,000.
This is a rust free car with a nice straight body, save for one ding on the rear passenger door. It has been re sprayed at some point in its life, but it washes up pretty well and is presentable.
My asking price is a VERY negotiable $2000.00. These cars are rare, but not terribly valuable. Parts are accessible and cheap as well. I am sad to see her go, but with 2 other Mercedes and not enough time to put in I am opting out of this cool restoration.
