I assume you're referring to the Ranger in the background?
I didn't realize that you're in Reno. Spent the holidays there couple of weeks back!
Yea, with the Rangers and Explorers their weak link is their auto locking hubs.
Over time they stop engaging properly so the best upgrade is to install manual locking ones.
Typically people sell their 4x4s cheap because of that.
It's only about $200 for the parts and not difficult to do.
Never had that problem with a couple of Jeeps I've owned.
But I don't see too many Jeep pick-up trucks around.
I got a great deal on my Ranger
and it's a 4.0 V6, X-Cab, with transmission fluid cooler
Dana 35 axles, AC, and tow package.
Though the Jeeps 4.0 straight six I think is a better engine.
This is when I had my quad.
All of this open land is just down the street from the house
And when I had a 3 wheeler
Actually great deal on this
Traded an Xbox for it, fixed it up a little then in turn traded it for an old GMC truck which I sold for $1500
This buggy was fun out there
was a 150cc converted to a 750cc
I polished out the fuel tank to almost chrome
it used to be a semi-truck trailer air brake tank
It went 70 mph, limited by the huge 63 tooth sprocket
speakers and amp mounted for mp3
Dodge Neon seats with 4Runner seat belts
Had LED lights to tell you which gear you were in
Sorry for all the OT stuff... just bored with too many photos on tap
