Cars for Sale: 1994 Mercedes-Benz E420 in Southfield, MI 48034: Sedan Details - 335017049 - AutoTrader.com

A lot of money for a 94 E420, even at that milage... and the nice condition it's in..

NADA for that model with 75K milage says $4775

Also maintenance records are important and there is no mention of typical 1994 repairs... Like many here on these forums, I know what 94's need to have done sooner or later, and your price leaves no cushion for the obvious repairs. Almost better to buy one with over 100K miles that has already had the harnesses replaced, evap replaced, tranny rebuilt etc...

That being said, I own one, actually my wifes car, and she wouldn't part with it for a newer model.. loves it...

GLWS, but you may have to wait a while at that price...

Pics need to be re-sized (too hi-res). I will work on that.

Thanks for the NADA value and kind words. Taking offers at market, but 4700 is laughable.

Your pic's are already in the auto trader link I put in my post, so you don't really need to resize and re-post.

But if you think you need to, simply use the Winders Paint program.

Open the picture in "Paint",
Resize it to 50% both axis
save as a jpg with a new name (to preserve the image quality of the original photos..) it's that easy

9 times out of 10, the new size will be more than small enough to post here

As far as price, I hope that both you and the eventual buyer walks away feeling the deal was fair, and most of all I hope the car finds a good home...

Good Luck...

Thanks. Autotrader picture quality is awful, perhaps I will polish those instead. 4700 would be great buy, however I would rather keep than sell it for the price of a used ford focus.

Has the upper engine wiring harness been replaced? Lower wiring harness? Has the EHA been replaced with a re-wired unit? If not, deduct $2,500 from your price because your wire insulators are crumbling right now. What about other necessary maintenance records - M119 oil tubes, shocks, brakes, plug wires, all fluids? Assuming all of the above is done and the paint/interior are in excellent condition, you may see $6k-$7k. I had a 95 E420 with all of the above done and sold it for $5,800 with right at 100k miles.

GLWS.

My dad always told me: "Don't bring sand to the beach." Thank you gentlemen.

Those that are interested in the car, please contact me privately; we can discuss pedigree and market appropriate pricing. Thank you.

I will give you $1,500 then we can discuss market appropriate pricing while we arrange for financing on that $1,500. Would you want a stalling 190E as a trade?
