Cool 18" Wheels and Sumitomo Tires For Sale

I pulled these off my '84 500SEC Euro in favor of 16"ers. The wheels are 8.5J x 18 ET35. They were made in Italy and have JW Ricambio on them. That's all the indentification I can find. All have some curb rash but are generally pretty nice. $300 + shipping for the 4. Also have 4 Sumitomo HTR Z III 215/40ZR18 89Y tires with at least 78% tread remaining. $400 + shipping for the 4. Tires and wheels combined sale $600+ shipping. Contacting me directly through email is best.

Hi David, A quick question. You said you had these on your SEC, did you need spacers or did they fit without? Like you, I prefer 16" over larger wheels size because of larger tire profile and ride quality. I was curious about them fitting an SEC>

Thanks,
Terrence in Nevada

No sir, no spacers no hubcentric rings. The wheels themselves were not really the issue with my car, it was the gawd awful look of the stretched tires on them that I couldn't stand.

That was my next question. What they looked like with such a low profile tire. I've wanted to go a bit larger wheel size, but not so big the tires look too small and beat the car to death. My problem is newer Mercedes rims, or other wheels not fitting and trying to find a decent wheel that works well on my 560sec. When I bought the car the former owner. or dealer that serviced it and sold it for him (I'm the second owner) either changed out the original wheels or painted over the chrome and they're now peeling. I just want to find a good set that a bit larger, more modern to put on the car while I refinish the original wheels. Did you find 18's were too large?
