I have a 2002 C230k and i'm wondering if you guys have a crank adapter for it. I already have a smaller SC pulley, but I would really like to put a larger crank on too.

Anybody have bought and done a review on either the smaller SC pulley or crank adaptor? Can share experience?

I ended up getting the larger crank pulley from a different company. I would recommend contacting ASP Racing ASP Racing They were extremely easy to work with. They send you the entire crank pulley with the larger ring welded on and re-balanced. It is quite a bit more expensive, however I think it is well worth it for the peace of mind knowing that your adapter will not fall off, and that there will be no increased vibration. I paid $750 up front and got a $300 core charger refund when I sent in my original pulley.

There was a very noticeable increase in power, the SC whine is also much more pronounced, I would definitely recommend the larger crank pulley. Feels like a whole new car.

Thanks for advice but I have a question

why Kleemann pulley kits has two pulleys one for SC and one for crank

but this pulley <terecha's pulley> and ASP pulley has only crank pulley

thankyou <sorry about my poor english language>

I wasn't able to find any sources for the Kleemann kits here in the USA, or anywhere for that matter, so i really don't know anything about them. I believe that on the SLK 230 kompressors you can significantly reduce the SC pulley size, but that on the C230's the pulley is about as small as it can get. Some other cars around here like the Chevy Cobalts and the Mini Cooper S's use the same SC as we use, and they reported that unless you were willing to mill down the nose of the SC casing (which would weaken it) our pulley was about as small as you can go.
