Which wheels to sell with my 85 300TD

I'm preparing myself to sell my 1985 300TD. Currently it has pressed aluminum wheels that look like steel (14" x 6") with Michelin 195/70/14 tires. And of course body-color full wheel covers.

So the question is, would you be more likely to buy my car if it had aluminum with hubcap wheels or nice bundt wheels?

Currently: 1967 250 SL, 1963 220Sb, 1965 300SE Lang, 1971 280SE parts car, 1972 Alfa GTV, 1965 Alfa Duetto, 1993 BMW R100R
Past: 1971 250 C, 1985 300 TD, 1967 250 S, 1968 280 S,1981 300 D, 1982 280CE, 3 Facel Vegas, Borgward Isabella Coupe, Alfa 2600 Sprint, Volvo P1900 (yes), numerous less interesting Volvos, ...

Whatever came with the car via the build sheet. I don't know, so I can't vote.

Likely more cash in your pocket by selling the rare wheels separately.

I'm not putting the horribly pitted chromed bundts back on the car.

If bundts were on the built sheet, then bundts are the original style.

My understanding of chrome wheels was that MB did not do it, only dealers would do if as an aftermarket option. I think chrome wheels are illegal in Europe or something like that.

I would think the build sheet would say "alloy wheels" or something like that, not "chromed alloy wheels".

So bundts work for you in two ways:
1) Original Equipment (or at least a match to the O.E.)
2) The aluminum wheels and hubcaps might be sold at a premium, and the buyer is unlikely to care about steel vs. alloy wheels under the hubcaps.

You can always offer to sell this extra set of wheels to the person who buys the car too.

Bundts.
