Suffice it say this will be my last post regarding this matter. I will allow you to have the last comment if you feel obligated. My main objective has been accomplished and that was to alert other forum members of what type of seller you are. Hopefully, other forum members won't be fooled as I was.

Secondly, I did not ask you to lie about the selling price. I asked you to leave the selling price blank on the title. Your response was "I have no problem with that". That is different than asking you to lie. The deal had not even been consummated therefore no lying occurred. I openly admit that I asked you to leave it blank. What transpired after I arrived in Houston made that request null and void.
I will end this diatribe by informing you that I ended up buying the white '91 300D in Miami for $2000 less than what you were asking. It is in better condition and has fantastic records with service completed by the dealership. I found it ironic that you used this car as the basis for your asking price when you only had records of oil changes and the 1400+ refurbishment cost, not the 1800+ as you stated in your ad. I suppose that was a typo error, right? Your car needed much more refurbishment.
Anyway, I have been driving it for the last 3 days and enjoying it. In a strange way, I guess I could say thanks to you. John
