FS Red, White and Blue 1972 450sl

For Sale; Red, White and Blue 1972 Mercedes 450sl. This is a very nice example of the famous and classy 107 model run. This car is a two long term owner car, the current owner has owned the car since 1998. This car is one of the earliest 107s you'll see. The car has 169,000 miles on it with a new engine installed at 136,000 miles. Its always been maintained by professionals, no amateur screw ups here. The 4.5 L V8 runs strong and the 3 speed auto works as designed. The front end was rebuilt last summer. Many records are present. It has nice paint with one respray in the original color. The car is originally from Arizona and has no rust. The interior is original and is in fine condition. The dash has a few cracks and the center console suffered from the Arizona heat. The MB tex is holding up well. The car has two tops, the convertible top was replaced with a nice canvas top about eight years ago. The hard top soft top and hubcaps are blue. The air conditioning works well and has been up-dated. The car is currently running Washington classic car plates. This is a wonderful classic roadster perfect for cruising through the Columbia River Gorge or into wine country. $8500 OBO.
