This 1972 Mercedes-Benz 350SL has 33,973 original miles and runs very well.
The first model SL's shipped to the USA have 4.50 liter engines NOT 3.50 as the badge on the trunk states.
Mercedes-Benz R107 and C107 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This car has not been broken in and in spite of it's imperfect paint and
rust issues, has barely begun to live.
Itwould be an ideal hobby or project car for the enthusiast.
It has been driven very little (less than 4,000 miles) in the past 9 years.
I have every receipt for any work done on the car since 1990!
Cosmetically- It is stored in an open air garage and has developed rust bubbles around the trim of the hood, on the passenger-side door in 2 spots and a spot on the hard top on the drivers side and a spot on the drivers side door.
It does not have a passenger side head rest.
Structurally the car is sound -
there is rust in both the trunk area and under the passenger side.
I am open to discussing splitting costs concerning the
shipping of the car (if need be)
