Nice! But I wonder what classic (vintage) hubcap would you mount on it so it would look fit on a classic such as a 108/109/123? Got a pic when mounted on a 108/109?

OK, curiosity got the best of me and I looked up some tire specs to see exactly what tires you can mount on a 5 1/2" x 15" wheel. Here are some choices:

195 55 15
195 60 15
195 65 15
205 60 15
205 65 15
215 70 15

So does that help?
It does help. Our 15" hubcaps came from a 123 wagon with 205 width tires and I came to the conclusion that by appearance the 215s would be pushing it on a 5 1/2" wheel. MBZ300CD's price at $279 is about $100 cheaper than I have found.

1971 300SEL 6.3
1985 280TE 5spd
1986 190E 2.3-16V
1986 300E 5spd 24hoursoflemons car.
