I have been working a similar chart, but trying to determine which wheel faces are identical, and specifying the lip and barrel sizes of each model as I come across them. For example, the RS008 and RS009 are identical, but the RS009 have 2" lips and the RS008 have 1" lips. Both have 5.5" barrels. When I have a more complete list, I will post my chart.
How specific/correct are the "VA" an "HA" in this chart? I see that "VA" means "front axle" and "HA" means rear axle, but:
- I know that you could mount rs133 on the rear axle of a 107 without problems.
- I would be shocked to see the 12.5x15 RS204 on the front of any car, even a widebody.
Also, I know the rs133 were made to fit the Gen2 r107 (protruding front brake calipers), but they should be able to fit on a wide variety of cars, at least the w126, and probably the r129.
I don't mean to be critical. I just have a yearning for learning these old wheels.
As for me and my obsession, I need to draw the line somewhere, so I am sticking to 16". No 15, 17, or 18 for me. I do like the look of those 18" though. Fortunately, 18" wouldn't look right on a 107 as I understand it.
