The person who appraised this vehicle is certifiably nuts. I would challenge him to show you recent (not 1996) sales of comparable vehicles in that price range that support his valuation. Wait, don't bother, he won't be able to show them because they do not exist.

Something tells me you believe this hogwash. It is pure fantasy. You will not get even half of what you are asking for this car. But, hey, its a free country, right?

And the car is hideous looking to boot! Unreal!!

Why do I feel like I've just been had by a troll? Please tell me this is a joke!

By any chance when you were a lad, did your parents take you to Disneyland a lot?

Couldn't you almost imagine that pretty white coupe in the nightly parade with all those lights, and Snow White at your side?

It's good to be the handsome Prince, Ahh, the world of fantacy...

May all your dreams come true.... (except for the one where your screw a buyer)

Reality Check: Keeping a car with 117K miles in perfect condition is a very noble thing, (Snow White would be pleased), and "might" qualify that car for high retail value (which is around $7K). Also expecting a $3000 radio to add $3000 to the value is like asking $60,000 for the car, because thats what it cost new... If I were buying your car and you thought the radio added even $1000, I'd say take it out, don't need it at all, the radio isn't worth anything substantially extra to the cars value....

Replace the ugly grill with the stock one, put the original radio back in, get rid of the ricer headlights and the bling-bling chrome wheels for a start and you may find someone interested around $5K... Also the cladding painted to match the upper body is a good choice, but it isn't a perfect match. It appears whiter and obviouly newer than the body, ( in these pictures anyway...) Have you done the head gasket and timing chain maintenance yet, if not the next buyer will be shelling out a couple of $K to do that himself.

I normaly would say GLWS, but in this case I think I'll wish the next buyer a fair deal instead...

Wherever PT Barnum is right now, I bet he just cracked a smile....

I am guessing the certified value is from an insurance company that lets you state a value of your classic car, then they give their price to insure it for that. Usually cheap, but not indicative of car's value.

Seller is in early optimistic asking price stage, just got a real bad case of it.

I have noticed recently there are plenty of sellers with 1 or 2 posts max and unreal price.
Somehow I feel this is from some other mb forum to just troll here and make this forum bad.

Is there a way we can stop these people from posting till let's say 25-50 posts. Don't like doing that personally but looking at increased activity of such posts..................
