+1...

He did the conversion before and I bought the car from him. To say it handles great is a gross understatement.

The E320 wagon that I bought from Termite, and promptly drove 900 miles home, with the exact modifications handled MUCH better than my stock 8,500 mile 500E. Best car I ever bought (out of 70 or so), and an honest seller AND a knowledgable enthusiast.

I added a 500E rear sway bar along with AMG 8.5 x 17 rear wheels and 7.5 X 17 fronts because, well, I just couldn't leave well enough alone.

All it needs is a C/E 36 engine (looking) to make it the perfect reliable economical long distance tourer. As it sits currently, with the stock M104, it is only 99% perfect...
Thanks again Jim.

Kind Regards,

Ron

Thanks

Mike, you are 3 months late and a dollar short. All that stuff sold the same day it was posted.

For the front struts, check out Bilstein Sports or KONIs. You should replace all 4 shocks at the same time with the same type... it's not recommended to have stock in the rear with Sports up front.

The front Sportline bar is available new for ~$292 list, ~$225 wholesale. I may have an extra front bar that I'd be willing to part with (no matching rear though, sorry).
