I'm selling my 1966 Mercedes-Benz W110 chassis 200 fintail. I'm a fintail enthusiast but I'm moving out of state and have to downsize, so only my 300SD daily driver and Universal wagon will be going with. My roommate purchased the car 4 years ago and I drove it here from 100 miles away. The engine ran strong but the brakes were dragging at first. After that it sat around for a while and then I purchased it from him. The title is clear and in my name, so no paperwork issues here. Also, the tags are current for almost another year.

. Parts are typically readily available and reasonably priced, though weatherstripping tends to be pricey.
I recently changed the oil with GTX high mileage with ZDDP additive and a Mann filter. I also put Marvel Mystery oil into the cylinders. I drained the gas tank of the old fuel, cleaned the tank strainer, installed a new O-ring, and put in fresh premium gasoline (yes, it requires premium). I installed a new fuel pump and did a few other things under the hood. The car runs, drives, and stops, but the brake hoses are original and the fluid probably needs to be changed. The tires are also old, so I wouldn't drive this car much further than onto a trailer or around your property. It is not currently roadworthy enough to drive home. It must be trailered.
The body is restorable, but it needs quite a bit of metal fabrication in the front end of the right rocker panel. There is also a hole in the left rear floorboard where it rusted out. The driver door is wavy and there is a dent on the right rear door where the fin starts. The paint needs to be redone and the right rear fender had filler in it, which fell off. The chromed parts, including bumpers, are in decent condition, but show their age. The Hella fog lights used to work with the headlight switch but I think the bulbs are bad. The right lens is broken and has allowed moisture to get inside. The windshield is cracked, but I might have a spare I could sell.
The seats and door panels are in great condition for as old as they are. The dashboard has three large cracks. The steering wheel is also cracked and crazed as is typical. The carpet went bad from water leaking onto the floor. The trunk floor is rusty, but not as bad as a lot I have seen. The missing trim from the back of the car is in the trunk; it needs new clips.
