Oh come on, someone else used a pulley puller on their crank pulley instead of just unbolting it- like I did under the influence of sleep deprivation- and needs another one, right?!

I *might* need this - my bolt came out while driving and after some thoughtless miles I notices a lot of rattling when I parked so popped the hood on my 300D NA and saw sparks from the pulleys hitting each other...it's been out of commission for a few months. I'll have a go at repairing it next weekend and let you know. I just worry the pulley might be damaged now and will tear up belts. Actually I can probably just give it a good feeling over tonight and let you know tomorrow. $5 would be a sweet deal but I'm hoping I don't need to replace it.

Or does this matter?

Don't think it matters. This was from a turbo '83, but I got it for my N/A '78, the design changes somewhere in between '78 and '83, so it didn't work for me, but I don't think turbo matters.

I think what matters is whether your alternator takes one or two belts - this looks like a two-belt pulley.
