unknown parts

I dont know what I have but it looks like a carburetor on one end and the other end is round with eight threaded holes, a tag that has the word Bosch and the number 0 438 120 170 . another is a black hard rubber funnel[?]. For some reason I can't get pics to upload to this site but e-mail me wbishop@kc.rr.com and I will send you pics. If you know what these things are and think you can use them make an offer. BTW if they worked properly my husband would not have left them. His car was an early eighties 500SL. if that's any help.

First one is an airflow sensor for CIS (k-jet) vehicles.

i have been told that this is a fuel distributor and an air boot to the intake. Doesn't mean much to me but maybe it helps a potential buyer
