Just turn the wheels over and read the partnumber, it tells all...!

first 3 digits are the chassie type, these wheels in 17 x 7.5 are normally SLK and CLK wheels, ET35.. not sure about ET 42 which it came from..

but again, just post the partnumber

Haven't had a chance to look at the part number but I know for a fact they have an offset of 42

Dang, wish I were working right now...those are the wheels I want, and I'm even in Seattle. I wonder if my other half would notice if I were to sell the refrigerator to buy these wheels? LOL! Surprised they haven't sold yet!

But just in case you still have them by the time I hopefully figure out a "plan," do you know if ET42 is correct for the W124 ('93 300D to be exact)? I'm pretty sure it is, but confirmation would be nice.

First of all 124's are designed for mid 30's to mid 40's ET, plus or minus a couple, so 42 is perfectly in that range.

But the clincher is the partnumber picture the seller posted. The first 3 digits of all Mercedes P/N's is basically the chassis type they are built for.

This style of wheel is not rare, they are mostly seen in the 17" size as a C36 wheel in a staggered setup, but the ET's of those wheels are also compatible with 124's, (I have a C36 set).

But this exact partnumber wheel is rare, a true W124 option, I've seen them on the wheel chart list, but never an actual set for sale before.

Someone with a 124 should pick these up, rare and a very reasonable price.

Thanks for the helpful info Aero I. I never knew that the first three digits stood for chassis. I did end up selling them to a w124 owner.

wheels are SOLD!
