For sale is my 1995 Mercedes C36 AMG . It is an original LHD car.
It's in my driveway in Nanaimo B.C. Canada.
Some attached pics are from when I first received the car. The current November 2011 pictures are shown with rain.
It's finished in color code 9199 blauschwarz metallic paint (it's a blue-black-charcoal metallic), with Black leather interior, carbon fiber texture dash, door and console trim, factory glass moon-roof, AMG factory installed performance package.
The subtle blue tone in the paint does not show in the photos. It looks more like a dark blue sky reflection. I've seen other grey and blacks that don't compare. The paint tone changes slightly as you move around the car.
The 3.6 litre AMG performance tuned, hand built il6 cylinder engine is easy to drive in town and an absolute rocket at highway speeds.
In 1994 and1995 Mercedes-Benz sent this model to AMG as a fully completed ready to sell C280 Sport. AMG performance enhancements were added before being distributed through the normal Mercedes-Benz network.

It has the unique AMG instrument cluster displaying kilometres/hr, grey & black leather steering wheel, and blackwalnut wooden shift knob. This is the Euro interior that is finished with carbon, instead of wood accents.
Wheels are AMG Monobloc staggered 17" alloy,
Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus Ultra High Performance All-Season
Front: 225/45ZR17 Rear: 245/40ZR17.
Typical features include:
Electric adjustable heated front seats, heated, folding remote adjustment mirrors. Cruise control. Rear window tints. It has the bullet-proof four speed transmission, not the weaker five speed of later years.
Sony 10CD trunk mounted stacker. The sound quality of the ten speaker audio system is amazing and makes my wife's 2009 ML 350 with entertainment option sound lame by comparison. Yes, it's that good, or the ML is that poor.
The Am/FM radio is for the frequency range in Japan.
It is a beautiful and exhilarating piece of machinery to drive.
I've recently driven a 1999 C43 and found the my 1995 C36 indescribably more appealing.

I had spent great deal of time searching for and locating this car for myself. It was found it in Japan. I purchased it 12/18/2009 and imported into Canada with the help of Zen Autoworks
It arrived in Canada the following spring with 74,000 km on the odometer.
Compliance and Provincial inspections were completed locally by Coombs Country Autos in Coombs B.C. Final and continued servicing by CARMAN FINE CARS in Lantzville B.C. Canada
This vehicle has a new, Mercedes made wiring harness, ignition wires and ignition coils. All were installed at approx. 75,000 km.
The ECU was also tested and subsequently rebuilt in the UK by
ECU-testing. ABS ECU's, throttle bodies, ECU's & ECM's
Also replaced: brake hoses, brake pads, transmission fluid, rear transmission mount, transmission shift lever bushing, engine coolant, front tie-rod drag link assembly.
DLR module added and wired to the fogs.
New Fram high flow air filter and more small things.
The original/optional HID headlights are not fitted. I have them but they require each lens to be changed to meet LHD standards before re-installing.
Depo LHD aftermarket headlights with PIAA bulbs are installed at this time.
Inspections welcome, but at the purchasers' expense.
Note: I'm not much of a negotiator, but I am open to discussions with serious buyers.
