We're moving and it's time for a new car so I want to get rid of both of the MB's. Either one can be inspected on a lift if you desire.
The 1986 is a 300E which I've had since 2008. It's now got about 143,500 miles on it, which I believe to be relatively accurate. Tires still have lots of tread, and it was just inspected in July. The interior features orthopedic seats from a 4Matic sedan that are heated and have air lumbar support. DUAL headunit in the dash. The drivers rear window does not work, and the headrest fold button doesn't work since I installed the pneumatic seats (if you suck on the hose really hard, they fold, so I connected the headrests wrong
). Outside there is a bit of rust in the passenger rear wheel well and some at the front jack point, though both are minor. Recently replaced the top timing cover seal, valve cover seal, water pump, tensioner, and belt. $3,700.
The 1983 300DT has been with me for about a year. I repainted the car, and corrected all the minor rust problems it had. I drive it just about everyday now, and it runs extremely well. It just turned over 260,000. Pretty much everything works except for the tachometer. This car was just inspected this month. This car looks great and is a really nice example of a W123. $3,500
I also have a 1989 420SEL, white with caramel leather to get rid of. The engine is toast, but it's got all the other parts. Make an offer. The junkyard was $400.
The wagon must go too.
