If you deal with this chap on E-Bay, be careful to ensure your transaction is successful.

His name is Mike Stephens.

His E-Bay user name is kids-klobber-4u.

He apparently breaks Mercs and sells parts.

Back in April I bought two pairs of sunvisors. Good price. Good bargain I thought.

Received only three pieces (dirty, packaged while still wet from rain, but in useable condition).

Query answer that fourth was broken on removal and he would send another. All very pleasant and polite.

Then the excuses begin.

Car delayed. Bad weather. Been on holiday. Been on holiday again. Problem with his transport company.

"Oh I posted to you a fortnight back." Etc., etc.

No responses to phone messages or E-mails.

Eventually early July....

"I don't want to fall out with you, let me have your E-mail address and I'll refund you £15".

Since then nothing.

I have made numerous phone calls (07970031970) and sent about 40 E-mails (

I have now had to buy similar items from the States at a high price and had to fork out VAT to HMRC.

I am not happy.

As the man said "CAVEAT EMPTOR"

I'm guessing you must be new to ebay. (in your case, Anyway, if you don't have satisfaction within 30 days, leave negative feedback and put in a claim that you didn't receive (all of) the merchandise. You will win.

I've noticed something odd about US vs. UK vs. German ebay - feedback ratings are much more important on US ebay than they seem to be on UK or German ebay. It's taken very seriously in the states, not so sure about the UK. Definitely not that big of a deal for some people in Germany...

Sorry you didn't get satisfaction.
