RS 009 (four)
machined (not polished) lips (no mirror finish to keep clean)
Silver painted showing some gold underneath (I decided not to disassemble all the wheels and repaint/powder coat, but the wheel shop will do so for about $100/wheel I think)
Just had all four lips and barrels perfected (still at the wheel shop)
Three wheels appear to have never been separated with original seal still intact. Previous owner disassembled one wheel, and I had the wheel shop reassemble it.
Have two new (2010 manufacture date) Dunlop SP Sport Signature (not sure if they've been mounted yet)
Have two Sumitomo (~ 2 year old base on manufacture date) which I don't think have been mounted
I think I've got about $1400 into the set so far. I haven't even tried them out on my car yet.
Attached is a picture after three were fixed, before I gave them the OK to put the fourth wheel back together and repair it. (I was previously considering taking them all apart and painting them, but decide they could just be re-painted silver pretty easily when assembled.)
I'm not taking a loss on these wheels, at least not until I decide I really don't want them. (My Lorinser LO wheels are in rough shape... and are vibrating again after having them straightened... after only about 200 miles of driving after getting them fixed... when the wheel shop put my tires back on after I'd asked them not to... I wanted to see the insides and was considering chrome removal... was considering putting my brand new Firestones on the BBS, but the wheel shop made some assumptions for me in an attempt to save me money, probably just costing me more in the long run.)
