Although very beautiful wheels, two piece AMG aeros are the wrong fit for a W126, being et44. You need something with a lower offset.

Look at your ad, and laughed. Those are my pics, from my old car you bought, and these are the wheels I built. I did curb one rear wheel, and the other has a small bend in one of the lips. Any recipets of new lips you bought and installed or is this another one of Phils famous lies saying that they are flawless?

RS 009 (four)
8x16 et11
machined (not polished) lips (no mirror finish to keep clean)
Gold nuts
Silver painted showing some gold underneath (I decided not to disassemble all the wheels and repaint/powder coat, but the wheel shop will do so for about $100/wheel I think)
Just had all four lips and barrels perfected (still at the wheel shop)
Three wheels appear to have never been separated with original seal still intact. Previous owner disassembled one wheel, and I had the wheel shop reassemble it.

225/50/16 Tires:
Have two new (2010 manufacture date) Dunlop SP Sport Signature (not sure if they've been mounted yet)
Have two Sumitomo (~ 2 year old base on manufacture date) which I don't think have been mounted

I think I've got about $1400 into the set so far. I haven't even tried them out on my car yet.

Attached is a picture after three were fixed, before I gave them the OK to put the fourth wheel back together and repair it. (I was previously considering taking them all apart and painting them, but decide they could just be re-painted silver pretty easily when assembled.)

I'm not taking a loss on these wheels, at least not until I decide I really don't want them. (My Lorinser LO wheels are in rough shape... and are vibrating again after having them straightened... after only about 200 miles of driving after getting them fixed... when the wheel shop put my tires back on after I'd asked them not to... I wanted to see the insides and was considering chrome removal... was considering putting my brand new Firestones on the BBS, but the wheel shop made some assumptions for me in an attempt to save me money, probably just costing me more in the long run.)

BADwayz, do you have any wheels for sale to fit my car, or are you just attempting to hijack my thread?

Forgot to mention that I do have all three center parts for all four BBS RS wheels.
- waffles could use paint, just like the center parts (mesh/weaves) of the wheels
- BBS badges are acceptable, but not brand-new looking, some look a little hazy ($90 for a new set if desired)
- Of course my nuts could use some polishing

I flagged it as I've personally met you and your old car at PT cruise 2010 and Leavenworth 2010.

Hijack your thread by giving you information about some expensive wheels you mentioned not working on your car? Or by warning you, and anyone else looking, that a guy who was attempting to sell you wheels was not being totally honest? Or by asking for additional info on a set of BBS wheels that actually will fit your car and look great?

Sorry for the hijack.

And yes I do have two sets of Borbet type A wheels that are period correct, very european, and rare on the stateside, especially in 5x112 and in this size. Both sets were shipped over from Europe. and both sets need a refinish, but I have (4x) 17x8.5 et13 and (4x) 17x10 et20.

Here is a sample pic of what they look like on a w126, these are not my pics or wheels, but the same size and model.

and here is what the condition of one of my sets are. Both sets just need to be media blasted and repainted, no bends or cracks.

Price is negotionable on what sizes are needed, work done, and if you want tires.

Gorgeous wheels! Perfect offset and size too for any W126!

Fox;

Bad is probably the single most versed member of any MB forum when it comes to wheel fitment for the W126 chassis. He can take any wheel, any size, and tell you what size tire, offset, and spacer information will fit with or without lowering to have no rub. And he can do it off the top of his head, not go check and get back to you in a couple of days.
Anything he posted was for your benefit and greater knowledge, that can be assured.

1990 560 SEL (Hans) & 1990 560 SEC (Hugo), both built in 08/89 in 702 over 265. (My Fraternal Twins)
1987 560 SEC AMG in 122 Pearl Grey Metallic.
1994 S420 (Gunter), in 199 Blauschwartz; (Traded in on W220).
2001 S600L (Hannah), in 753 Tectite Gray Metallic; (Gone in 08/12).
1979 300 CD in robins egg blue; (Gone in 11/12).

My bad, I appreciate the knowledge on this as I am quite new to the Mercedes market. I have always wanted a 560sel AMG in my stable and have had a difficult time finding one, hence the search for parts. I thank you all for the help!
