Post WTB W124 Fuse/Instrument Cluster Removal Tool

I need to access the fuse behind the instrument cluster on my 1990 300E. All of the lights on the console are no longer working so I am thing that is the problem. I am also in need of a new fuse. Let me know.

Go to Home Depot and get two paint can openers. They are usually free. Then go to the DIY sticky in the W124 section for instructions on how to pull the cluster.

Those "special tools" can be used to remove all kinds of other things. I found them handy in removing vent inserts on my 560SEL.

Now looking for sewing lessons
1982 W123 240D "Turtle"
1995 W124 E320 "Rogue", 1991 W126 560SEL "Pegasus", 1992 W140 300SD, 1990 W201 190E 2.6, 1978 C107 450SLC, 1973 R107 450SL, 1999 W140 S500.
Gone but not forgotten:
1988 W126 560SEL - got rear ended, 1993 W124 500E - parted.
Parts:Ebay Store | In DC Area? Rent my tools, time, trailer or knowledge!
