WTB: Pebble Beach tickets

Did anyone get Pebble Beach Concours tickets and then find out you aren't going? If so, I would be interested in purchasing a pair of tickets at discount...

Thanks
Scott

I hear you on the hotels. I went through all of the on-line discount things (hotels.com, etc) and each time I clicked "book it" it replied that "Oh, that isn't available.. perhaps it just sold out..." or some other such nonscence. I ended up with Best Western in Salinas for a zillion dollars a night.

I can get the Pebble Beach tickets on-line for $175, but the Craigslist price seems to be about $125 so I was going to try to get tickets that someone isn't going to use and if that doesn't pan out I'll just buy them on-line.

Looking forward to the MB event on Friday that week.

you're probably lucky with that best western, I stayed at the Motel 6 in Marina, absolutely awful

I just paid the standard $150 for the tickets on friday, can't believe how bad the parking was... totally worth it for the 20 or so 250GTO's though

by the friday MB event do you mean the Autobahn meet? I went to the concorso earlier so I missed a lot of it but got to see the awards and some amazing cars! sadly only a handful of 124's.. but those three gorgeous black 126 coupes...

The best western Salinas was adequate. It would have been nice to be in Monterey

It took us 2 hours to get parked with the traffic buildup. Great show. Great weather. As with many things around the Pebble Beach event, the parking lot is one of the best parts of the show. You see so many cars that people drive to the events....

Yes. It was a nice show. I have been to the concorse Italiano before, and have always thought that the parking lot for that was the best part. I care nothing about seeing 10 new Lambos with trophy wife perched on the side. But the cars in the parking areas!

I guess I like more "unrestored" cars than show cars. Plus $$$ is limited so I had to pick and choose which events to attend.
