WTB: 123 or 126 Daily driver for wife - or other - NY area

Hi all, given that my 1989 Town Car had it's sunroof cracked by some hail my wife no longer wants the car as her daily driver and (so far) I am in no mood to replace it and am selling it off.

I have an '89 560 SEL that does not get driven in the winter. Basically she needs something that is a solid year round daily driver. Ideally with some snow tires for being in the Albany NY area.

She really likes the 123 and 126 body style, but would probably need to be a 6 cylinder or diesel so 420 or 560's are probably out of the question unless it is a very luring price. The biggest requirement is dependability NOT showroom condition.

Later body Benz's are OK as well, but their is a strict budget for something from 2000 - 2003 ... plus she is REALLY picky with the later Benzes. A chip off the ole block

So in the end, even though the 123 or 126 is her ideal, any dependable and affordable Benz might be open for consideration.

I haven't pushed the sale of my Euro 420SE too hard so if daily driver dependability is what you need this car has a proven record of reliability and maintenance, it might just be a good complement to your 560SEL. PM if still interested.
