are almost a standard requirement to get buyers excited about a car...
and it is aholiday week-end..

History of the car is really a great selling point if it's good, not so good history always seems to be unavailable...

There are several great Ad's to sell a car, yours needs some bling

Start with pictures and a history of ownership and maintenance.

Be patient, if it's a good car it will sell

SL's & 124's

If you really are serious about selling it, take some big pictures show it in detail including the "minimal <gasp> rust" and put them in a photobucket album or picassa or whatever an include that. The glamour shots you have are nice, but useless for anything other than identifying the car as a W114 series 250 sedan. (Which is NOT a 250 S. It is a 250. Period. 250.) You can say it's a 114 or a /8 or a 250 - any of those are correct.

Good luck in your selling - I have a 250 C (which really does get a C).

Currently: 1967 250 SL, 1963 220Sb, 1965 300SE Lang, 1971 280SE parts car, 1972 Alfa GTV, 1965 Alfa Duetto, 1993 BMW R100R
Past: 1971 250 C, 1985 300 TD, 1967 250 S, 1968 280 S,1981 300 D, 1982 280CE, 3 Facel Vegas, Borgward Isabella Coupe, Alfa 2600 Sprint, Volvo P1900 (yes), numerous less interesting Volvos, ...
