WTB: 1991 300se Cylinder head.

Just got the 103 engine apart to repair the blown head gasket, Unfortunately there is some pretty severe cavitation around cylinder 1, and it is likely irreparable.

So, I'm looking to see if anyone has at least a serviceable head for the m103.

Local is preferred, I live in North San Diego County, so hopefully someone relatively close has one.

Name a reasonable price, I'm an unemployed and disabled guy, so I'm definitely not rolling in dough. The better the condition and the lower the mileage the better.

Thanks,
Joe

My 1991 300SE had the deterioration around #1, and it was pretty severe. The damage was successfully repaired with a weld. Good luck.

Thanks for the input. I have already looked into that option, unfortunately the head is warped as well. It has also been resurfaced a couple of times already, and is now completely beyond repair.

Somebody here has to have one of these heads sitting on a shelf in their garage... Convert that baby into some cash, and help me get my benz back on the road!
