Austin, Texas car has 136,000 miles and a lot of recent work/improvements.

Non-working HVAC is the last remaining item of any significance.

I have the car posted on Auto trader and cars.com (Lapis Blue/Palomino interior).

My preference is to sell this car at a true market price (not inflated wishful thinking) to someone who knows 107's and wants a solid 280SL.

Why am I selling? Because I bought the same car with a five speed manual.

So what do you think is the true market price of a 1984 grey car which has not the improvements from a 1985 300SL

Given that I have never laid eyes on a 1985 300SL I would not know how to make that comparison. If you have an interest in purchasing my car you can call or PM me using the contact information provided. Or, you can do what I did which is to do a lot of research and estimate a fair market value.
