This is a rare completely stock limited production euro 1980 500SLC 5.0 1 of only 1,299 produced.
Still considered the rarest post WWII sports car built by Mercedes Benz. These german muscle cars were only released in Europe and with one purpose; to get homologated for rally racing in the WRC. This automobile is an absolute pleasure to drive!

The PO had a custom intake fabricated for the blower and it was painted flat black. Some of the paint is flaking off so I'm going to remove it and drop off at a local powder coat guy. Will post the pic's when that's complete. That car is really a joy to drive. The sound of the aftermarket exhaust when the car is accelerating is way too cool. Hopefully there will be a GTG around the NW in the next month or so. Mike
