FS: W201 190D Parts - good engine and busted transmission in MA

Hello! I am in the process of turning two 190Ds into one - more specifically putting a 5-speed from a 190D 2.2 into a 2.5 turbo. As such, I am selling the major components that I do not need. Parts are located in MA, 20 miles west of Boston. Available are:

The OM601 2.2 engine (less flywheel and accessories) from the parts car. 245,000 miles and starts easily, runs well, and idles smoothly. No known issues. $250/BO as-is, you remove (or pay a bit more for me to rent a hoist!).

Also a 722.413 auto transmission out of a 190D 2.5 turbo. I believe it is the original transmission, with 310,000 miles. Not functional when removed - would not change gears correctly (or quietly). I believe the issue is with the clutch packs or governor. Also leaked some fluid and will require a reseal. Best considered as a rebuildable core. Torque converter included if desired. $75/BO.

Some other parts from the '84 190D 2.2 parts car may be available - try me if you are looking for something specific. Also have many parts available for 1.6 diesel VW Rabbits.

- Jake

Parts now simply priced at best offer - I would rather see them go to good use then sit around here now that I no longer need them.

I wish you were closer. Would love to have the transmission as an experience unit that I can learn about the AT.

Yes, I do still have the car and plenty of parts in it. The engine is pending pickup next week, but tons of other mechanical parts (and some electrical/cosmetic parts) are still available. Message me if you are looking for anything specific.

Hi,
Need the following:
Driver side front door lock
Right sunvisor (palamino)
Sunroof switch
Have a need for some other parts also, but these are the most important now. Do you have these?

If you don't mind shipping (at my expense, of course), I'd be interested in any or all of the following if available:

- Driver's side interior door panel (Needs to be tan without power seats)
- Driver's side sun visor (also needs to be tan)
- Throttle linkage from the 2.2L (if you're willing to separate that)
- Center vent surround (the piece with the switches in it for the sunroof, etc)

Good luck with the project!
