Thumbs up SoCal - 1982 300SD Needs Entire Interior

Hey guys, like the title says, I need an entirely new interior for my 1982 300SD project car.
The specifics; needs to be grey, and in like new condition. No tears, scratches, holes, burns, stains, etc...
I need door panels, wood trim, front and back seats, dash, arm rest (which is attached to the driver seat), and any other significant interior panels.

I have been working on this car for about 6 months, and just need the interior to get finished up to have a completed car.

Thanks for your time, and please email me directly at "m_milosevic@live.com" with pics and your asking price.

Again, SoCal only, and must be grey in color.

Cheers

The difficulty isn't in finding a grey interior, it's finding it in good condition. Also, most of the vehicles here are SEL body, and most of the panels don't swap, as well as some of the seats.

So, aside from advice, if there is anyone who is selling interior pieces, please let me know. I am paying cash.

Go do it yourself! We are in the heartland of junkyards and W126 sedans are plentiful. Get off your butt and go find a seat here and a door panel there, etc. It is SOOOOO easy. No one is going to have a complete perfect interior that they are saving just in case someone wants one. Common color, common car. Or just order all the parts from Mercedes....

OK, if you don't like that answer try phoning Sun Valley Dismantlers -- in Sun Valley (duh) and they might be parting a 126 with a grey interior. I think the only difficult piece to get is going to be the driver's seat.

Currently: 1967 250 SL, 1963 220Sb, 1965 300SE Lang, 1971 280SE parts car, 1972 Alfa GTV, 1965 Alfa Duetto, 1993 BMW R100R

+10! Lots of nice w126 interiors in the yards. Us poor w123 owners should be so lucky...

W123 parts aren't too difficult as long as you are persistent and have an easy color to find. I over time obtained a driver's door, driver's fender, second and third row wagon seats, second row headrests, B, C, and D pillar upholstery... but I do a LOT of junkyarding.

For those of you who think you're smart, and that think I am lazy, please refrain from posting in this thread.

I have searched the last six months high and low all over the LA and Orange County area. I have obtained head liner, new chrome for the exterior, the bottom half of the back seat, new interior c-pillar's and a parcel shelf.

I have been restoring this car from the ground up for some time now and am near completion, so I don't need to hear squat from people who don't know what they are talking about, and did not read what I said at first.

I am looking for parts not sarcasm, or pointless advice as I am restoring my 3rd W126.

I will post pics as soon as it's completed for all who are interested. But, as of now, I am looking for lots trim pieces IN GOOD SHAPE and seats IN GOOD SHAPE.

Thanks for your time.

If you didn't sound like such a prat maybe some of us would give you the heads-up when we see good 126 cars at the junkyard!

And I did provide the rather helpful suggestion of Sun Valley Dismantlers.

And another helpful comment - is there an "early" W126 and a "late" W126, and does that affect which parts you want?

Maybe this is a good solution:

I _do_ think I'm smart.
cheers

That's a horrible solution. Who on earth would spend $8000 to dismantle a mint condition car? Please don't post in here again.

Cheers, even more, Kom.
