Roncallo has mentioned that when installing his 8x16 et34 r129 factory MB wheels on his 560sl (w a v12), when he had 10mm spacers on it tore the tierod boot, assuming with the rim, but not sure. (Think 8" wide wheel with et34-10 = et24... but every rim is different.) Then when he changed to 12mm spacers he was OK. (Think et34-12 = et22, but every rim is different.) So generically you could assume that an 8x16 wheel wheel can't have an effective offset of anything higher than et22.
MANY people run 8x16 et11 wheels with 225/50/16 tires on r107s. So I'm going to assume that anything between 8x16 et11 and et20 should work.
I would guess that a 20mm spacer would be ideal to make these fit a 107, assuming the right tires are used.
I'm currently trying to determine what spacers will work on the front of an r107, and need to ask Roncallo what he uses.
