Thanks David for the tip. I've been contemplating the idea of eBay, so I think I will throw it up there this week. Stay tuned for the link/item #

Condition isn't the greatest, both sets of wheels pictured are replicas, corner lights dont match, and it's pretty highly modified. Modified cars that I see for sale typically bring less than their stock counterparts. Honestly the overall condition should be much better for $6,000 and that's the cold hard truth.

Cool... We'll see how the auction goes... The car has an oem swap, M104 for m104. I guarantee its faster, handles better, more luxurious etc better than a 240d in every category.

Quite the endorsement of the AMG drivetrain and nitrous kit--very impressive!

+1, what he said.

It seems the fans agree. At this time your eBay listing has 12 bids and none meeting your reserve. The $2,950 currently offered isn't bad considering the condition and mileage.

Good luck with your sale. Maybe you can raise the market for other sellers.

Wow... I am on many automotive enthusiast forums and I've got to say this group is probably the worst.

Actaually VWvortex is much much much worse. This forum is giving you a hard time simply because of the obvious problems with your sale, wether it be the outragous asking price, or the lackluster condition. This forum knows the most about Mercedes-Benz vehicles, which is good because we can spot the problems easily in a sale like this. If you cant sell your car here for a serious asking price your car/attitude has major problems.

I guarentee my 560SL, Fox Body mustang, volvo 850 T5, and Sierra Denali can wip your W124's ass. My daily driver doesnt need to ride stiff/harsh, or go fast because I have other cars just for that. I can guarentee that my 240D has a much much better ride quality, is more reliable, cheaper to fix, easier to fix, and will last longer. What's a car if its unrealiable?
