ohollenbeck, Thanks for the endorsement of the wheels and the picture of the same set on your own car, but please do the speculating about whether the tires are worth it or not to ship elsewhere, and not on this thread. The tires will be sold and shipped with the wheels for this sale, since I will not be taking them to a tire shop to have them removed. The buyer of the set can choose to keep or remove the tires at their discretion

Hello, thanks, sevag, for getting back to me. Also thanks to you, ohollenbeck, for contributing and raising an excellent point !!! Sevag, I'm only interested in the wheels and not the rubber---would you be willing to take the rubber off and just ship me the wheels ?? It would probably save me a lot of shipping money as $ 200.00 shipping wouldn't make sense to me for $ 600.00 rims. You could probably find empty shipping boxes at any rim or wheel store ! Thanks and please advise. Deano

Hello, sevage , sorry I didn't see your last post on the top of page 2. Since you want to leave the tires on the rims I might as well withdraw my offer, thanks anyway. Ohollenbeck, thanks for your input anyway and the pictures really do look sweet ! Take care, Deano

Deano, yeah I'm not really interested in removing the tires. I would have to haul them all to the tire shop, it would take me four separate trips and cost me about $60 to have them dismounted and then disposed of. I don't mind doing this, but I'd ask the buyer to pay for it, and the difference in shipping weight and revised shipping costs wouldn't be enough to cover the difference--these weigh about 27-29lbs each without tires, so you're still looking at around a 54-58lb box per box. Someone out there might want these wheels with this tire size, so for the time being they are being offered with tires.

The tires are still good except for one of them and have plenty of life left on them. If someone got these wheels and just bought one tire, they could get a lot of life out of them relatively on the cheap, and then they could dismount them and get their own tires of their choosing.

are these still available? if so 350$ and shipping and you got a deal. im willing to remove the junk clear and refurb the factory finish, as well as fix the curb damage. also chances are good that at least one of if not all of the wheels are slightly bent (prolly not cracked with the decently fat tires but probably bent considering two of the tires are junk and one sounds like it might have been a blowout and the wheels have probably had a good bit of use over their life). the centers are chipping paint as well. plus I have to dismount the tires. ill do all the work myself but not for 600. 350 sounds fair. zip is 15071. hopefully that sounds reasonable. heck if you send them dismounted ill go to 400 because then I can start the work right away.

looking forward to your reply

Unhappy too late

I wish I'd seen these before I got the EvoII ( Italian ) 17" wheels
I'd get them but, I too have 3 sets for this car already
I have some 18" Privet Netz that I just took off cause 1 needed repair.

I had some MIM/Speedlines simular to those on my lowered '90 Toyota p/u show truck and they looked Sweet

Oh well.. good luck

wheels

If you have these still, I may want to pick them up. I'm local so no shipping is needed.
I would need to verify the wheels are true and not bent/ cracked.
do you think these will fit an 86' 300 sdl?

the asking price is still $600. '86 300sdl should have an appropriate offset of 11 to 23. These are 35et. So you'd need a spacer of about 10-15mm, and then perfect sized tires to make them fit.

Take the tires off as they are junk anyway. Discount tire will do it for very cheap. Then your shipping cost will do way down as the weight is probably 22lbs a wheels.
