For Sale: 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 AMG

2006 Mercedes Benz SLK 55 AMG, only 15000 miles, V8 engine, full options package, GPS navigation, xenon lights, black leather, heated seats with airscarf, brand new Pirelli tires, 7 speed automatic plus manual.

This is the fastest model Mercedes sold in 2006, 0-60 in 4.3 seconds. Everything is from the factory, nothing is modified. Always garaged and stored during the winter. The engine is still on warranty from the Bloomington, MN Mercedes-Benz dealership. It has a prior salvage title because the car was stuck in a flood storm a few years ago. The entire engine was fixed at the Mercedes dealership. I have all the paperwork. The SLK has zero problems, it runs and drives perfect!

Asking $28,995. I am located in Savage, MN which is about 25 minutes from Minneapolis. Call 612-801-2550 or text 612-548-1999.

All SLK 55 AMGs are automatic transmission only, with steering wheel paddle shifters. There is no option for a manual transmission.

Right. I had the opportunity to drive one two weeks ago (a 2005 model) and it is a BLAST. I did not need to paddle shift cause that thing was a rocket and I was just trying not to pee in my pants.

Salvage title it is not that bad of a thing, providing the price reflects it and that the repairs were done right, it could be a good deal who knows.

Paddle shifting is fun - but I tend to leave mine in Sport most of the time. And yes, you are right, it's a beast of the first magnitude.

You are correct, but it's something that has to be taken into account; a friend just picked up an identical car, but with 10k more miles in a private sale for $35k.

Can you give some details about the warranty coverage? Is this something special that was done due to the engine replacement? (Those go for $38k, btw! ;-))

Beautiful car! GLWS!

I'd love to drive that baby around the block or maybe on the interstate. That would be a wet dream come true.

The warranty comes directly from Mercedes and covers only the engine work and yes it is a special warranty, not the normal Mercedes warranty. Most similar SLK 55 AMGs are priced much higher than what I am asking, especially on eBay. Mileage is higher than mine too so I believe I set a fair price.
