Four Winns Express Cruiser W/ twin Volvo 350's

First I want to thank the mods for allowinhg me to post this here but I thought there are probably some boaters in the benzworld! Due to the birth of my son and some health concerns I am forced to sell my favorite ride...my 1999 Four Winns 298 vista. Just a few things that make my boat stand apart from the others in her size:

Rare Four Winns performance power package which was a $15,000 option and includes twin Volvo 5.7 V8's, most 298's only have the 5.0's in fact I have yet to find one for sale with the 5.7's. They transfer power to the water with stainless steal duoprops. I have had 8 people on this boat and and can get on plan in seconds, try that with 5.0's or worse V6's that come on alot of Regals and Sea Rays.

Upgraded electronics include Pioneer Premier head unit with ipod cable that allows control from the head unit as well as a pioneer remote unit at the helm. Brand new polk speakers inside and out with movable tweaters. A HD/Digital antenna for the TV has an amp for better signal quiality and was new this year as well.

Boat comes with almost new camper canvas and mooring cover, new two person tube, tow line, and bridle.

Boat has been stored in heated and indoor storage every winter and is waxed 2x a year, the gel coat is impeccable!

Here is the link for more information and for pictures...this boat is a steal for the money and has full tanks of gas so its turnkey.

Boat sales are in the tank. Nobody is getting any money.

Seriously consider keeping the boat and give up something else. The memories of our son and the boat trips in either Carver we owned are priceless. A much better way to vacation than Disney.

Thanks!

I know boat sales are down but believe it or not boat sales in cleveland are pretty high and one of the few US banks that does offer boat loans is in cleveland. Since listing on boattrader.com I have received about 2 dozen calls and half a dozen showings so I am remaining hopeful. biggest problem is its the end of the season, my plan is to downsize to something i can trailer to keep expenses down. this is a downsize for me already because i used to own a 36ft motoryacht, probably like your carver. the most expensive part of owning a boat up north as I am sure you are well aware is the summer doackage and winter storage. yikes its like 3x my boat payment!

Well then, good luck with the sale.
I had a 2807 aft cabin (32 oal) and then a 4207 aft cabin (48' oal). Now I'm in midlife crisis, so a 46 footer with 2700 horsepower. When I get over it, I'll probably be getting a 53 Hat.

Thanks!
