Good Day Sir,

My name is Christopher Cashion and I am from Utica, NY. I am currently restoring a 1960 180b that was tragically crushed when a garage caved in on it due to the tremendous amount of snow we get here in NY. I have a couple hundred hours in the car over the past three months and I am working on a champagne car with a Pepsi budget, I can't afford the $1,000 MeBe wants for the windshield and the cheapest one I found was a $500 one on EBay. I was wondering how much you'd like for your windshield (if it's still available.)

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Very Truly Yours,
Christopher Cashion

P.S.
If you need other model Mercedes parts, please don't hesitate to ask. My father has run a Mercedes repair facility for 40 years and we have quite a selection of new and used rare parts of various models.

Hi Christopher -

I don't have the windshield or a parts car. I salvaged the bakelite from a car a couple years ago and have some of the window surrounds and a couple pillars still left. My recommendation for the glass would be to try to find a salvage yard somewhere on the east coast. I occasionally see Pontons being scrapped, but the chances of shipping a windshield and having it survive are slim. And expensive. I shipped one Jaguar rear window to Florida at buyer's expense and at buyer's risk, and it cracked in the process and his shipping cost was (I think) $200+

Good luck with your project - looks like a fine car.

Scott
