I know, I know. I've decided I like the cushy ride my car has right now and don't really want to change that. If I spent more time on the mountain roads, really enjoying driving the car, I'd keep them, but most of my driving is mindless SoCal traffic driving. I just want to sell them to someone who will really enjoy them.

For those that don't know these will leave you with some reverse rake. Much talk about fixing it, I just lopped off a coil or less on my car and it's rake is within OE spec now. If you do install them, go ahead and install the W126 LCA bearing and replace the strut rod -> lca bushing since those both require the springs to be out. You should also install the TD front sway bar it does wonders. The 15mm rear sway is NLA but some have cut and welded other sway bars in. You can probably do this with the 17mm w126 sway, it is only 2cm to large.

$275 + shipping cant be beat. The only other reputable firm is H + R and you will pay a pretty penny as they can only be ordered from the european catalog. I would venture to say only multilink or awd can out track me these days. This is my favorite part of the daily commute :

atlanta ga - Google Maps

And when I have free time :

U.S. 129, Georgia - Google Maps

Damn, too bad I need to get other things done first otherwise I'd snatch them up. Always happens that way.

83 300D turbo - 272K miles, 03 NOV 2010
83 300SD - 254K(?) miles, AUG 2013
85 300D turbo - Sold at 184,000

A modern classic from Mercedes-Benz radiates decidedly more coolness than a modish small car.

Thanks for the info! I was planning to replace the differential mount (pretty sure mine is toast) and mess with spring pads until it got level. I wasn't as concerned with the drop as I was interested in the stiffer springs.

That looks fun! I've got this just a few miles away, but never have the time to drive it! Glendora Mountain Road

I hope they go fast, but if not, check back in when you've got some extra spending cash.

Some guy stopped me this weekend and asked me about my springs. I told him a set was here for sale, maybe he'll pick them up.
