Parting out: 90 300TE 4Matic wagon - ortho seats - Baltimore/Philly/DC area

Bright red 1990 300TE 4Matic wagon being parted out in York, PA.

Wonderfully complete, unmodified, unwrecked car. 145K miles. Great heated tan/palomino leather orthopedic seats - both work. (and it IS leather, not tex)

3.0 Inline 6 runs great. Really a clean solid engine. no blow-by, a peek down the oil fill cap reveals a gunk-free inside that could be the "after" picture from one of those gas additive commercials.

The car drives but I wouldn't put my entire faith in the transmission and 4matic system. The 4Matic light on the dashboard is lit.

The interior is very nice. The little "rolltop desk" storage compartment is also in nice shape.

Body: top surfaces have some hail damage, left rear quarter has a rust hole from a leaky window seal. Hatch is dented, but it's a "soft" dent that could be repaired. Wiper and auto-close latch both work. Aside from the dented hatch, all of the wagon-specific parts are in great shape, in and out. All glass is good except the windshield.

Power locks work, all windows and sunroof work, power antenna is claimed to work but I haven't tested. I also have some other W124 parts. No prices have been set. I've attached a picture, and I'd be happy to email you a picture of any particular part of the car you're interested in buying.

The car is stored indoors in York, PA. An hour from Baltimore or Harrisburg. Under two hours from Washington DC and Philadelphia. Would prefer pickup of larger parts but will gladly ship small stuff worldwide. Hope to have it stripped and gone in a couple of weeks. If you're reading this beyond mid July I've either forgot to pull the ad or have not yet got this thing out of my garage.

you have the rear jump seat? wonder what it would cost to ship? also what about door panels? you have pictures of them? I have the tan interior as well, and wondering if your door panes look like mine. Thanks.

The rear seat is beautiful leather. The rear carpets are nice too. The door panels are spoken for but not paid or picked up.

I'm thinking of the seat the folds down into the rear hatch compartment. I wonder how much it would be to ship? Thanks.

Yes. The third seat is beautiful palomino leather. Do you need all the stuff to put a third row into a car that didn't have one? Or You already have one and want a nicer seat cushion?

Actually, my TE 4matic doesn't have one, so I'm not sure whether it did and they took it out or there were some cars made that didn't have the 3rd seat. Do you know? I'm a new owner, so not that familar with these cars.

Third seat was optional except for the 94/95 models when it became standard in the US. I can pull the seatbelts and other parts. It will be an oversized box. Maybe 20 lbs. Would ship from York PA 17402.

I will look. Perhaps it wasn't on the car I have. I have two doors on the floor of the rear of my car. I'll check into cost and then get back to you. Thanks.

I'm going to pull the seats as soon as the temperatures come down and put them on ebay. $99 starting bid and probably $300 buy it now for the pair.

I couldn't find any comparable sales on "completed auctions" so I don't really know if my pricing is out of line. Both orthopedic systems work. The leather is REALLY nice. The heated part on the left seat only works on the lower back, and I'm not sure which parts work on the passenger seat. (but I will test before pulling them)

Unless you're up for a roadtrip to York, PA (during our heatwave no less!) I'd skid them up and take them to the local truck terminal.
