Accumulators are a totally different symptom than shocks when they are bad. You will feel accumulators in the ride quality of the car, as the accumulators serve as the "springs" of the rear SLS suspension.
A very sharp push down on each rear corner at the bumper will tell you all you need to know with regard to the condition of the accumulators.
If the rear hydraulic legs aren't leaking externally/visibly, are dampening correctly and aren't hugely noisy, I wouldn't bother to replace them until they specifically need it.
