I still have the shocks and the spring compressor.
Yes, they will fit a '01 E430 Sport as they are made for this chasis and motorset.
Gatonls is right, the shocks need to be accompanied with either a lowering spring set or you can cut your stock springs.
No matter how you slice it, you WILL need the spring compressor if you want to lower your car unless you jack to control arm and remove the connecting bolt (very dangerous).
I have a '02 E430 Sport and they made my car look AWESOME and handle GREAT! One of the best ways to enhance the look of the W210 is wheels & tires along with a sport suspension.
It lowers the car ~1.5" if I remember correctly.
I would definately recommend that you go to Tire Rack - Your performance experts for tires and wheels
and get a set of H&R springs ($247) and bilstein sport shocks ($400) and go to SARASOTA mercedes tools zdmak porsche tool: ZDMAK FLORIDA mercedes tools zdmak porsche tool: mercedes tools SARASOTA - MMK4MKT
and get a spring compressor ($190). Factor in tax and freight on all items as well as a good alignment (~125 @ stealer) and possibly
some camber adjustment bolts (~$40) and/or links (~$150) and you will be rolling in style!
These shocks can be had for $250
The compressor can be had for $150
