Selling my wagon.
I am leaving the state in a couple weeks (May 4th to be exact) and need to sell my daily. I do, however, need to keep driving it until the end of the month, so I'm hoping to work out a deal with somebody who is willing to look at it now and commit, then pick it up at the end of April.
-1989 Mercedes 300te
-Every option except for A/C and heated seats, Everything works
-Tranny fluid flush a couple thousand miles ago
-New cat-back exhaust
-New plugs, wires, etc
Looks good, paint is in really good shape. Body has a couple dings/dents. One on the bottom of the driver's door, two on the hood, one on the hatch. otherwise straight.
Just turned over 200,000. Runs like champ, never any issues.
Overall good shape. There are a couple trim pieces that have broken clips that dont like to stay on. I still have them and was intending on 3M taping them on but never got around to it.
Leather seats. Has the 3rd row seat.
New H&R shocks. To lower the car I cut two coils in front and 1.5 in back. It rides really nice, actually better than before (initially it was too "boaty" imo).
SLS works well.
-Brake pads: I bought new ones a while ago and just havent put them on yet.
-Tie rods: needs these pretty bad, you'll notice it on the freeway.
-The windshield seal leaks in heavy rain.
-this is new: the speedometer stopped working last week.
The car tentatively DOES NOT INCLUDE THE BBS's
and will come with the stock alloys. I just dont want to sell them. But IF
you do really want them, you will basically need to buy them.
So, here is what they are:
-17x8 with 205/40/17
-17x9 with 215/40/17
-wheels are not restored.
-high offsets, dont remember off hand what
-bored out to be hubcentric
-custom 5mm spacers in front
-custom 13mm spacers in back
-custom wobble bolts made from vw lugs in front
-custom wobble bolts made from Merc lugs in back.
I drive this thing A Lot and have had Zero issues with the wheels/tires (or the whole car for that matter).
--> As it sits: $3200 $2,500!!
--> If I fix the tie rods and brakes: $3600
--> Wheels would go for $1600 (dont want to sell, but I suppose money talks)
Thanks for looking
