Hey guys,

I just posted my beloved C43 up on Craigslist tonight. I am buying a house soon and will need the biggest down payment I can get. I really don't want to see it go but I feel it is time for someone else to enjoy it as I have. It blue books for 10k and I've spent 8k on it in the last 2.5 years I've owned it. I don't expect to get all my money back however. I will give a few quick facts and also the link to the CL posting. If you're interested or know anyone who is the best way to contact me is through the link on the CL posting. Thanks for looking.

Sweet looking ride, good luck with sale. You paid $500+ for window tint? Wow, talk about cost-no-object upgrades!

One word of advice....just copy/paste the CL ad here and attach the same photos. Why make people click on a link? It just lowers the percentages for you.

I don't see any price shown in the ad. Can you give an asking price?

Price is right in the subject of the CL ad link, $18K (why am I doing this?).

Nice car! First thing though, whenever you mod a car don't expect to ever get it back, unless you find the perfect buyer. I have a 97 BMW M3 and I had a Dinan Supercharger kit installed, cost $9000, then had a Big Bore TB, Exhaust, and other little things, well over $14k in mods, if I were to sell it I realize I won't get that back, it sucks but it is what it is.

The only thing that could pop the value a little, would be maintenance history that shows major repairs being done, at least you can justify the price being a little over KBB value.

Great ride, and i love that front bumper.

But in all honesty and with all respect intended, the car is not worth $18,000. TBH you're better off parting the car back to stock, selling it for 10k and selling the mods separately.

Well, his username is Ludachris.

Very nice car, and tastefully modded. How does the car ride being so low? I don't think it would be practical for roads around here.

I think the price is high as well. I live in the pacific nw and know the local cars are usually in great condition. The same year car is offered around here with really cool two color interior with 90K on it and all the records including recent spark plugs and all the fluids etc.(reciepts of $3K) service has been completed. He is asking about $10k, it has been for sale for 6 months. I have thought about it, just waiting for the price to drop. $18K? The economy the way it is? I just bought a sweet 2002 CLK 320 with all the records, new Michelins, 88K miles for $6500. Needs a bit of cleaning but is all there and is a strong car. KBB is a decent reference, but when it comes to getting real money for your car, it is only worth what someone will pay. Maybe more luck on ebay.
