The specs- 1980 300SD maroon with tan MB tex interior 280K on the clock.

The good: Front seats, rebuilt tranny w/ 30K on it and an engine from a 126 that is sound and solid, needs a new valve cover gasket and has 2 or 3 leaky injectors. Servo bypass has been done. Short ram intake installed but the original comes with the car as well.

The bad, well most everything else. Heater fan is from a lexus and only works on defrost, though it will crank out the heat. Front and rear windows leak so the carpets are shot. Rear seat needs a new pad. Paint is 30 years old and looks it, though it will buff up some if you put the time into it.

I used this as a work car for years so it was kinda abused (no time to get things fixed since I needed it to get to the jobsite). Has potential, is still a beautiful body style, or can be a good source of parts. Comes with at least 2 sets of wheels, has steel on there now that I intend to keep unless I get a great offer that has to include them. But I have 2 sets of bundts for it, though one set needs to be stripped.

Anyway I'm open to offers. Will consider a trade for photographic gear or maybe a netbook or maybe....get creative as long as it's somewhat small and useful.

'80 500SE Euro '5.0 AMG'- 5.0 AMG engine, Gleason rear diff (still trying to find the ratio) and full aero kit. Stock interior. BBS RS133 8x16 3 piece wheels with Michelin XGT Z4 245/45-16 tires.
