Florida: Anyone here who would buy my 2001 MB CL600 for $13.5K ASAP? 88K Miles.

Recently Purcahsed it from a friend who's in the business for my vacation home in Florida, and the car is currently in Florida. It is a dealer sale through my friends business, as I decided it would give the buyer more security to purchase from a legit dealership rather than private sale through me.

Details: 2001 MB CL600 V12, 88,000 miles. Silver on Grey. Clean car with NO accidents. Mechanically, the vehicle has been well maintained FLorida car its entire life. No ABC issues, and motor purs nicely. Had it checked out thoroughly before I purchased it. Comes with 20" Aftermarket Black with polished lip wheels.

Price $12,000 FIRM

Need to sell in the next couple days. Serious buyers with cash ready to go. Will accept credit card deposit through our business and cash for the rest.
Delivery anywhere on the east coast can be arranged for AN ADDITIONAL FEE

If serious, and have funds ready to go, please email rendered22@hotmail.com for more info.

Thank you!

It would certainly help to post a link to pics, or the pics themselves, and include a list of all known service would be a good start.

Thanks!

I agree. The ask is a great price if you ask me but the lack of "visual aids" isn't helping.

Cheers

Why? you guys all know what a brilliant silver on grey 2001 CL600 looks like. LOL

Condition is great, its a clean florida car.

Price is my rock bottom, no haggling or wasting anyones time. Either someone wants the deal of a lifetime who's in the market for this car, this is it. I need a quick sale. No back and forth undecisive buyers.

I haven't owned the car long enough for me to collect any major service records. Unless you want to see oil change reciets.

Good luck with the sale, Rendered. Your low post count and failure to post a picture greatly diminishes your prospects on this board.

Not to mention your lack of posts on this forum. Almost smells of a scam. Not saying it is, just saying you don't have a history here on this forum with people who know you, or know the car, you know nothing about the car, post no pictures, have no history, etc, etc. Imagine you were looking for a car and came across this - wouldn't you be a little suspicious? As to your comment about wouldn't people want this car for this price, unfortunately the V12 in that model is an expensive car to fix if and when things go bad. Lots of electronics/computers, the air suspension isn't the most reliable system and costs 4-5 figures to repair, etc, etc. However if this is all for real, that is a great deal for someone.

wow, you guys are tough!

I assure everyone I'm not a scammer. If you'd like me to phone you, please email me your numbers if you're serious. The buyer will receive my personal information, The Title with a proper bill of sale, and they will pay taxes like a normal vehicle sale through any dealership.

The only pictures I have of the actual car are the ones I recieved from the auction we purchased it from. I'm many miles away in Toronto, Canada, and will fly down once I have a serious buyer who leaves a deposit.

Thanks for looking.

Thanks for the pictures. It appears to be in good condition. Your new price is in line with NADA trade-in value, so resale at a yet higher price is in doubt. What appear to be aftermarket wheels probably don't add to the value of the car. However, the fact that it appears to be a Lorsiner-optioned vehicle might.

More and better pictures would be helpful, here or in other sales venues--engine, more interior, possible flaws observed in the pictures you've provided, etc.

The fact that this is an auction-purchased vehicle makes your asserted provenance and maintenance history dubious and almost impossible to confirm. Furthermore, a thorough pre-purchase mechanical inspection at an auction is impossible in my experience. Start it up, open the hood, lay in the dirt to peek underneath--that's about it.

Nonetheless, you may get your asking price. It is in the right ball park for an example in good, not excellent, condition. The fact that it is admittedly "a little more complicated" for the buyer, however, argues against this. It is a very tough market with the advantage to the buyers.
