FS: Gen 2 dark blue SEC interior, EXCELLENT shape.

I have a complete dark blue interior in fantastic condition. I purchased this from a fellow member and was told it came from an SEC that the owner was VERY meticulous about and spared no expense when he re-did his car. As I recall it came from a 88 SEC, but can't really say for sure as it's been over 2 years. The leather seats show NO signs of any wear and was probably only in the car for a few months before it got totaled. If I didn't know any better I would say this looks like it came from a car made in 2007 let alone something from the late 80's!! The interior includes all door and rear panels, bolsters, rear seats. NO wood or door trim, is included. ALSO, you will need your own seat tracks as these don't come with them. I also may have the carpeting but need to look for it. There is also a box of plastic trim bits and interior rubber moldings and I also remember getting a box full of screws and fasteners but I would have to look for it.

I was looking forward to installing this in my 91 Euro SEC ... until it got totaled so it's now up for sale. My loss is your gain. Upgrade you worn interior for a fraction on what it would cost to re-do new. I am looking to get $800, which is actually $200 less than what I paid. If there's no interest here in the next few days then it's going on eBay. I wanted to post this here first.

All this set needs is a good cleaning since it's been in storage for over 2 years. Condition with Leatherique or your favorite leather conditioner and I'm sure this interior would look brand new.

I would prefer a local pickup of course but would consider delivering within a 200 mile radius of Detroit for the cost of gas to the save time and effort in packaging this.

I didn't get any response on the interior so it's going on eBay today.

Excellent deal for whoever has a SEC. Usually navy blue leather fades.... and cost of having one seat releathered professionally could cost as much as the entire lot you're selling.

Yeah, that's what I thought.

eBay should be a good spot. A much larger audience. I just need to get this out of the garage so I can have more room ... this stuff really starts to accumulate after a while.

Mark - this interior is out of the car you bought the door and fender from. Its the one I was telling you about, its in great shape. Would be funny that the car went from NJ to Michigan, back to NJ, to PA, then the interior went to Michigan, now maybe back here again?!

Markus

Sorry Mark, I sold the interior about a month ago to a gentleman in Kentucky who happened to be skiing in Michigan and picked it up on his way back.

Thanks for the heads up Markus. It was tough to see it go because interiors in that condition are very hard to come by.
