Try it with snow tires and you'll notice a big difference.

I'd get a used Subaru. You could probably buy one for the price of brand new set of winter wheels + tires + balance + mount.

I've a 97 Subi wagon that has worn all weather tires and will run thru any amount of snow as if it isn't there....

It's my disposable winter car, when it breaks bad some day, it's off to the junk yard and look for another.... your right they are cheap and serve a great purpose..

couldn't agree more. i wanted a wrx sti so i went to the dealership, only to find that they didnt have one. i tired a wrx they had on the lot and it pulled strong. although the ride comfort was rubbish, the awd really surprised me in the corners. the interior seemed to me like what youd find in a bumper car, so i decided against it. the japanese really have no clue how to dress the interior. the turbo could easily be upgraded and you can safely see numbers fairly close to the stock sti, but the car is simply ugly to me inside and out.

well i regret it now, since its winter... i envy ALL subaru owners. i check ebay and cars.com every single day to find a good deal. i havent driven my c43 in three weeks due to snow. i hope my drive to massachusetts next week is a safe one.
