i've got a great life sport, just don't like a flip/flop, "12 years old and it is not perfect" and you then dodge the question, twice, of "what's not perfect".
folks here, including me, weren't born last nite.
Maybe I was foolish for stating the obvious fact that it was 12 years old and not perfect. I guess people read into that in different ways. There are cynics who would be led to believe that "not perfect" means that the transmission is blown out and it has a rod knock. If that were the case, and I were attempting to conceal a material mechanical defect, why would I bother making any statement as to condition?
What is meant by the statement as that the car is not in showroom new condition. But again, a 12 year old vehicle with 133k miles wouldn't be expected to be, now would it? The "not perfect" part refers to cosmetics. For instance, the leading edge of the hood has some small "chips" on the paint, there is a scuff in the leather in the driver's seat.
The next sentence of the statement that you quoted me on, that is not included in your post attacking me, is: "I welcome in-person inspections if you are interested." I listed this after the "not perfect" comment for a reason: This would give anyone who is a potential buyer a chance to examine the condition of the vehicle prior to purchase. I wouldn't want anyone to make a trip out to see it and think they are coming out to look at a car that is in "brand new" condition.
You're right - it was a stupid thing to put in the ad - restating the obvious and all. Perhaps I will send my posts to you to proofread before I post again.
Your question: "what else are issues that you're certainly aware of but not mentioning. " is incredibly insulting. You know nothing about me or my character. I don't understand how you can say something like this.
I am certainly glad to hear you have a great life and also that you were not born last night. You once again have done the forum a tremendous service and I think everyone is *truly* thankful for your wisdom and if they're not, they should be.
