is that a bad thing or a good thing, and do you know what value these rims actually have
For us W126 guys, Et 11 are hard to find / rare.
The value of your rims depends on how much damage the one wheel has, and whether it can be fixed without any after effects, how much curb rash, and how good the chrome still is.
To re true and refinish (without a proper re chrome) is being offered as a special for $ 450 per set of 4.
I had a cracked rim welded trued and re chromed at a cost of over $ 300, but it was never 100%, and only good enough as one of the rear wheels.
In 3 years I have been unable to find the exact same chrome 8x16 Et 11 wheel as replacement. I found 3 polished aluminum though.
I would recommend better high def pictures of the wheels condition, and more of the wheel to be repaired.
How did the rim get a hole there?
+ unless you find a local buyer / pickup, for shipping purposes the tires will get expensive.
I bought 1 set of 4, with 2 wheels good, 2 dinged for $400 incl shipping from AZ to L.A., plus 2 new old stock display for $300 incl shipping from Houston TX. I believe shipping from TX was $50 per wheel. None of the wheels were shipped with tires.
